Vashti knew the navy couch.

People call her difficult;

they don’t know she waited all her life

to say no.

A dance with destiny –

draped,

silken,

& courageous.

Like Robin Hood
Vashti stole

from those rich of no’s

to give to those who lack

true lovingkindness.
